Parade Route

The strut route begins at the corner of Commodore Plaza and Main Highway. It turns left onto Main Highway and then turns left onto Grand Avenue at CocoWalk and turns left again at Commodore Plaza. If we are having too much fun we will go around again until we all fall down.

Parking & Getting There

There is ample parking a block away from the parade route at the Municipal Garage at Oak Avenue and Mary Street, as well as CocoWalk, Mayfair, Coconut Grove Playhouse, St. Stephens Episcopal Church, and Coconut Grove Elementary School. Click her for GoogleMaps parking locations.

ADMISSION: FREE with a smile, ($501,372.50 with a frown).

CHILDREN: The King Mango is open to all ages. Children under 16 are recommended to be accompanied by an adult.

PETS: It is recommended that you be kind to your pets and leave them at home.

ALCOHOL: The King Mango Strut does not sell alcohol but all of the participating local restaurants and bars along the parade route will have specialty cocktails for purchase be open and serving at their own discretion.

PROHIBITED ITEMS: Weapons of any kind are not permitted. Skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, and scooters, which may endanger or inconvenience the public attending the Parade are not recommended. No unauthorized Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs, also known as drones) are allowed to fly over the Parade without having the operator registered and submit a copy of their FAA registration number, and flight path for approval at the Parade office at least one week prior to the festival.

FREE ATTENDED BIKE VALET PARKING FOR THE KING MANGO STRUT 12-5:30 PM, SUN., JAN. 7, 2024

Bike Coconut Grove will offer free bicycle valet parking from 12-5:30 p.m. Bike to the event, leave your car at home, and you’ll have no worries about the safety and security of your bike because our attendants will watch it. Just bring your bike to the courtyard of St. Stephen’s church. Enter from the St. Stephen’s parking lot on Main Highway. See you at the Strut!
